The driver and posture
Why?
Employers, especially those with fleets, are realising that the driving seat is part of the workplace, and therefore their health and safety responsibilities extend there, too.
And, of course, the commercial sense in comfort and performance apply equally - perhaps more, because a mistake on the road can cost lives.
Vehicles and their seats are created for a "norm", but they do not adjust themselves to the individual - this has to be done by the user! Just a with an office chair, it is more effective to ensure that the individual knows how to make adjustments for himself.
How?
Either by extending the Etcom core training to cover driving, or by a specific variation of the core programme for drivers.
Such training will take people from their work for less than two hours, and Etcom can train about 15 drivers in a day.
